1. Overview
With the development of economy, the demand for various profiles in all walks of life is increasing day by day. As the main processing equipment of non-ferrous metal (zinc, aluminum, copper, etc.) industry, the number of profile extruder is also more and more. The existing profile extrusion machinery and many hydraulic power equipment, often the motor and oil circuit are designed according to the maximum capacity, in addition to the mold locking, extrusion and shear process requires a large pressure, many times of the power frequency operation of the motor wastes a lot of electricity. In view of this situation, we are for the purpose of energy saving on part of the copper extrusion, aluminum extrusion machine for energy saving transformation. FGI frequency converter has been successfully applied in the profile extrusion equipment, reliable operation, has won unanimous praise from customers. Next, we will introduce the application case of FGI FD100 series frequency converter in aluminum profile extrusion equipment.
2.Implementation plans
The equipment uses two FGI FD100 series frequency converters to drag the hydraulic machine continuously to complete the extrusion work. The system can adjust the motor speed according to the different actions of the aluminum extruder, reduce the power output, so as to achieve the purpose of energy saving.

Powerful protection function, can provide complete overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overload and other protection functions, overload capacity of 150% rated current for 1 minute, so that the system operation is more stable and reliable.
