Luxin Mine is located 17 km east of Bayin Hushuo Town, Wulagai Management Area, Xilin Gol League, Inner Mongolia. Started in June 2008, Luxin Mine has achieved 13 provincial scientific and technological achievements, including 13 provincial scientific and technological achievements such as "Supporting technology of support and rapid construction of integrated excavation under special soft rock flood environment". And by the China Coal Industry Association as "quality management group activities advanced unit".
The mine has an annual designed production capacity of 5 million tons, a service life of 62 years, and a total reserve of 910 million tons. The coal mine is a low-gas coal mine, its coal is high quality lignite, its ash, sulfur, phosphorus content are low, is a good power and fuel coal.
The mining area is located in the grassland mountainous area, the population is sparse, and the double-circuit power supply mode still has certain security risks. Therefore, emergency power supply must be added to the existing power system.
1.project context
Aiming at the sudden power failure in the mine, this project adopts the technology of diesel generator set + photovoltaic power generation + energy storage. Through the emergency treatment of the mine power failure, the non-essential load on the 10 kV bus line is cut off and discharged to provide stable power supply for the primary safety load in the mine. And with 6 MW photovoltaic grid-connected, 800 kW diesel generator set, power supply for energy storage system.
2.FGI scheme
FGI provides a fixed emergency power energy storage system for this project, which consists of a set of 10kV 4MW/8MWh high-voltage direct-mounted energy storage system. The high-voltage direct-mounted energy storage system is equipped with the power station energy management system (BMS) to carry out data acquisition, operation monitoring, automatic charge and discharge control of the energy storage station, and prepare remote sensing, remote communication, remote regulation, remote control and other remote functions. It can track the peak and valley curve of the power grid, guide the device to automatically charge and discharge, and upload the monitoring information of the high-voltage direct-mounted energy storage to the duty room on the second floor of the 110kV buck station and the central control center of the office building.
3.site test
On April 18, 2024, the emergency off-grid test was carried out on the mine after the system power failure. The test results show that the emergency energy storage equipment can meet the off-grid start-up function when the mine power failure occurs under the condition of no power supply. Moreover, based on the above adjustment results, when the emergency energy storage power supply equipment is put into use, the main fan can start to work, and the auxiliary shaft can start to work, so as to ensure that when someone enters, the main fan can work smoothly, and the elevator cage of the auxiliary shaft can also be lifted smoothly, so as to ensure the safety of the well personnel.
A set of energy storage device for mine emergency power supply developed by FGI company has important guiding significance for mine safety production. The implementation of this project will improve the stability and reliability of coal mine power supply, ensure the continuous operation of the mine under emergency conditions, and effectively reduce production risks and safety hazards caused by power outages
This project intends to use advanced energy storage technology to realize rapid response to power grid failures or planned power outages, meet mine emergency electricity demand, ensure mine production safety, and reduce economic losses caused by power outages.
In addition, its fixed structure makes the installation and maintenance of the system more convenient, can meet the complex changes in the mine working environment, and provides a strong guarantee for the safe and efficient operation of the coal industry.
