1.Overview

Thanks to the thermoplasticity of plastic, industry can use hot melt extrusion to produce, recycle plastic, and used in blowing molding, injection molding and other molding processes, can be widely used in the manufacturing of all kinds of packaging, daily necessities, auto parts and industrial equipment components.
Extruder is the core equipment for the production of plastic, it by mixing raw materials, using the screw to push the material into the heating section melting, and then through the porous plate and filter plate, the plastic melt material extrusion into a unified diameter material, or directly into the molding equipment to produce all kinds of pipes, parts, etc.

Below, we will introduce the application of FGI FD 300 series low voltage frequency inverter in the extruder.
2.Implementation plans:
The system is driven by a 55KW motor as the screw motor, using FD 300-55G / 75P-4 low voltage frequency inverter control motor, timely adjust the motor torque according to the feedback current signal during the screw rotation, to achieve the screw resistance mutation caused by different materials and different feeding speeds, to ensure the stable operation of the equipment system, improve the quality rate and reduce the loss.
3. Application advantages
(1)Energy saving and efficiency increase: the FD300 low voltage frequency inverter adopts constant torque output. Compared with other speed regulating systems, the average power saving is more than 30%, and the energy saving effect is more significant in low speed operation.
(2)Accurate control: FD300 low voltage frequency inverter torque accuracy can reach ± 8%, speed accuracy ± 0.5%, which improves the control accuracy of the equipment.
(3)Improve the quality:FD300 low voltage frequency inverter can suppress the mutation current, automatically adjust the screw speed response, to avoid the uneven diameter, line break, vacuolation and other quality problems.
(4)High automation: FD300 low voltage frequency inverter frequency conversion speed regulation performance is stable, rapid response, automatic operation through preset parameters, unmanned workshop production.
(5)Protection equipment: reduce the mechanical wear caused by the large current when starting, and prolong the service life of the machinery. Provide complete overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overload and other protection functions, overload capacity of 150% rated current for 1 minute, so that the system operation is more stable and reliable.
