With the continuous maturation of high-voltage frequency conversion technology, four-quadrant frequency converters have been widely applied in the mining field. For electric drive systems, the use of motors combined with variable frequency speed regulation has become the mainstream configuration. In particular, large-capacity frequency converters are used to drive the mine hoisting system, which is particularly important in intelligent mines.
2.Project overview
In a new mining project in Ordos, after extensive research, the user selected the FGI four-quadrant frequency converter, which has a high market share in this industry. Two high-voltage four-quadrant frequency converters of model JD-BP37-1400T(1400kW/6kV) are adopted to drive the 6kV/2500kW motor winch in parallel.
3.System scheme
Two high-voltage four-quadrant frequency converters drive one motor, and the master-slave control data signal connection is adopted.
4.Application performance
Power input excitation inrush current limiting technology
This technology enables the system to have a small inrush current each time high-voltage electricity is applied, and the impact on the power grid is also very small.
No-load low-loss control technology
In standby mode, the no-load loss of the frequency conversion system is small. According to actual measurements, it is 2 to 3 times lower than that of general technology products.
Adopt vector control technology
The frequency converter can operate in four quadrants and features zero-speed hovering and torque presetting technologies.
Unique functions of the hoist frequency converter
It is equipped with multiple braking methods such as feedback braking, DC braking and safety braking, ensuring the reliable operation of the winch.
Special interface for the hoist
It has complete interfaces for connection with the electrical control system, achieving seamless connection with the electrical control system of the winch.
5.TAG
With the rapid development of industrial automation and green energy-saving technologies, the combination of four-quadrant frequency converters and motors has demonstrated significant advantages in enhancing the performance of winch systems, providing solid technical support for the intelligent and efficient operation of winches. The deep integration of FGI four-quadrant frequency converters and winches is not only an inevitable choice for upgrading traditional industrial equipment, but also a key technical path to achieving intelligent manufacturing and sustainable development. In the future, as the policy support and market demand of double drive, FGI in high efficiency and energy saving, intelligent control and adaptability continues to break through the scene, injected new momentum to the transformation and upgrading of China's intelligent mine.
