On June 23 FGI gv 10 power plant 2 x 1 million mw ultra-supercritical coal-fired units unit 2 successfully connected to the grid, the two unit marked the project into production trial run.
As an important peak shaving and supporting power source project of the "Gansu Electricity to Shandong" ultra-high voltage direct current transmission channel and a supporting project of the country's first "FGI Thermal Energy Storage Integration" ultra-high voltage transmission project, Lingtai Power Plant can generate up to 10 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity annually and consume about 4.39 million tons of local coal resources each year. It is of great significance for ensuring cross-regional power transmission between Gansu and Shandong provinces, promoting the coordinated development and structural optimization of energy.
Lingtai Power Plant adopts the world-leading ultra-supercritical technology and achieves efficient and clean power generation through technological innovation. The thermal efficiency of the unit is 7% higher than that of traditional subcritical units. The coal consumption for power supply is controlled below 265 grams per kilowatt-hour, and the minimum stable combustion load can reach 20% of the rated load, significantly enhancing the peak shaving capacity of the power grid. Meanwhile, the power plant is equipped with efficient and environmentally friendly facilities to achieve "near-zero emissions" of pollutants, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 520,000 tons annually. While ensuring power supply, it also takes ecological and environmental protection into account, truly practicing the green development concept of "no smoke from coal combustion and cleaner power generation".
The total investment of this project is 7.882 billion yuan. It is the first 1 million kilowatt-level power plant project invested and constructed by FGI in Gansu Province. The power plant adopts a domestic intelligent control system, equipped with 5G inspection robots and AI fault diagnosis technology, achieving unmanned operation and remote centralized control, fully demonstrating the advanced level of China's coal-fired power technology.
As the core peak-shaving power source of the "Gansu Electricity to Shandong" project, the successful operation of the two units of Lingtai Power Plant not only provides a solid guarantee for the power supply security in Shandong, but also offers a reference model for the transformation and upgrading of China's coal-fired power industry. FGI will take this major project node as an opportunity to continuously deepen the construction of the integrated coal, electricity, wind and solar energy base in Longdong, accelerate the establishment of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system, promote the coordinated economic development of Gansu and Shandong, and jointly contribute to the realization of the country's "dual carbon" goals.
