1.Introduction
In Shandong province, the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, with its unique advantages in transportation and logistics, continuously transports resources and becomes a "golden waterway" to promote economic and social development. A port located in the northernmost part of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Shandong section, as the first inland port in Shandong with the capacity of oversized cargo delivery, continues to improve port service functions, in recent years to undertake transformers, large chemical tanks, distillation covers, shield machines and other cargo delivery tasks, and has repeatedly broken the record of single large cargo handling quality of inland ports in Shandong Province.
The port has a static storage capacity of 2 million tons and an annual freight handling capacity of 32 million tons. The newly built 8 special railway lines are equipped with the business capacity of receiving and unloading tons of large trains and containers. It is the largest comprehensive single port in Shandong province, with the cargo throughput and static coal storage ranking first among inland ports in the province.
2.Field condition
Due to the large conveying distance and long conveying stroke of the long-distance belt conveyor, there are problems such as poor power quality, high electricity consumption, and difficulty in starting at low speed, which reduce the conveying efficiency of the belt conveyor, increase the operating burden, and more likely to cause the conveyor belt deviation or even the conveyor belt tear.
According to the customer's field conditions, FGI recommends the use of medium voltage inverter and SVG products.
The head-to-tail multi-drive mode uses high voltage frequency conversion to drive the master-slave motor, and the speed synchronization and reasonable power distribution between each drive motor ensure the smooth and reliable operation of the belt conveyor, realize the adjustable power distribution of the head-to-tail drive, maintain the same drive output, and solve the problem that the wear of the belt caused by the speed difference, thus affecting the service life of the belt. It is conducive to high-voltage SVG products, improve the quality of the power grid at the load end, lower reactive power loss, and improve the use efficiency of the on-site power grid.
3.Driving scheme
The port is a new project, in which the belt conveyor driving device adopts AC-AC frequency conversion + reducer control mode. Because of the filter unit and compensation unit in the device, the higher harmonic component is very small and will not cause harmonic pollution. The power quality improvement part is processed by high voltage static var generator.

5.Conclusion
